Social Media Day

Thanks to everyone who came and helped celebrate Mashable's very first global Social Media Day in Manchester. The event was a great success.
Over 70 people came together to celebrate which clearly shows that Manchester's social media scene is thriving. Amongst the speakers sharing their secrets of social media were John Greenway from Manchester Airport, Martine Alexander - one of the North West's most sought after stylists, Real Fresh TV’s Chi-Chi Ekweozor and Smoking Gun PR's Rick Gutteridge, Dominic 'The Hodge' Hodgson as well as Skylab's MD Nigel Collier. On the night we hooked up with two other Mashable events taking place in Porto, Portugal and Sacramento, USA and we even made a guest spot onto ABC news in California!
